How to Save Email as a PDF on your iPhone and iPad

Many users want to keep an email as a PDF on their iPhone and other devices. There are many new features and, there are old features that have to forget.   4. From this new menu, tap on Print
  5. Pinch with two fingers and zoom in Email Message
  6. Tap the Share icon in the top right-hand corner
  7. Tap on the Save to Files icon in Menu
  8. Scroll and select a folder
  9. Once selected, tap Save in the top right-hand corner of the menu

When you have added the Email Message to the Files app, it will be converted to a PDF file automatically. Then, you can head over to the Files app on your iPhone and share it with anyone.

Advantages of the Shortcuts app :

After the release of iOS 13, Apple turned Shortcuts into a default application on your iOS. It means that there is nothing extra to install from the App Store. Thanks to the Shortcuts app, through this, you can turn emails into PDF’s much better. But, you will have to find the right Shortcut and add it to your Share Sheet.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iOS device
  2. Tap Gallery in the bottom right-hand corner
  3. Click inside the Search box and type Make PDF
  4. Select the first option
  5. Tap Add Shortcut

After that, Shortcuts added to your Gallery, and you will have to add it to your Share Sheet. Here is how you can do it in this way:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iOS
  2. Tap the three-dot overflow button in the top right-hand corner
  3. Toggle Show in Share Sheet to the On position

That is final; you have to do to add Shortcut. Now here is how to use it from the Mail app:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPhone
  2. Scroll, and open the email you like to save
  3. Tap the arrow at the bottom, revealing a new menu
  4. From this new menu, tap on Print
  5. Pinch with two fingers and zoom in on the Email Message
  6. Tap the Share icon in the top right-hand corner
  7. Select Make PDF in the Share Sheet menu

From there, Shortcuts will create the PDF automatically for you.

What About Other iOS Mail Clients?

As many users know, the default Mail app users do not fulfill the needs of many. Although there have been many features additions for their use, there are still some other features missing as well. That is where the App Store comes in, as there are so many different emails from where users can choose. One fan favorite is Spark by Readdle, which comes from the company; they make apps like PDF Expert and Calendars 5. Since these third-party developers can add and remove specifications as they see fit, that opens the doors to a more built-in function. So the process of saving to PDF is much more comfortable.

  1. Open the Spark app on your iPhone
  2. Find the message you wish to save and open it
  3. Tap the three-dot overflow menu button at the bottom
  4. Scroll over and select Save as PDF

From there, you can add comments (another feature of Spark for teamwork) and the history of the email. Then click Save, and it will show you with the Share Menu to send or save the new PDF file on your iPhone and iPad devices.
